Uxbridge is a four-school district serving about 1,623 students in grades PK–12: one elementary school, one middle school, and two high schools. The Uxbridge district ranks 167 out of 351 in Massachusetts, placing it at the 52nd percentile with 3 stars. Uxbridge High is the largest school with 590 students, while Gateway to College is by far the smallest with 44.

Taft Early Learning Center posts the strongest test results in the district: 59.18% ELA proficiency and 57.58% math, both well above district and state averages, though it only tests grade 3. Uxbridge High is uneven — 10th-grade math is strong at 53.51% and 8th-grade civics at 46.92% beats the state, but all-grade math (38.93%) and science (39.69%) lag. Whitin Intermediate is stronger in math (45.15%) than ELA (38.63%), with 6th-grade ELA at just 29.57%.
