The district is rated 4 stars and ranked 104 of 351 districts statewide, placing it at the 70th percentile. Marshfield High is the largest school with 1,119 students, Furnace Brook Middle enrolls 799, and the elementary schools range from Martinson Elementary (445) and Gov Edward Winslow (357) down to Daniel Webster (313), South River (272), and Eames Way School (249).

Eames Way School is the district's standout, ranked 142 of 899 elementary schools (84th percentile) with 4 stars and the highest ELA (60.95%) and math (71.03%) proficiency anywhere in the district. South River (73rd percentile) and Gov Edward Winslow (74th percentile) also earn 4 stars, while Daniel Webster holds 3 stars at the 67th percentile with notably strong math (61.07%). Marshfield High is 4 stars at the 75th percentile, with a 97.5% graduation rate, a 1.0% dropout rate, and math and science proficiency above state benchmarks — a rebound from the 58th percentile in 2024–2025.

Two schools are worth watching. Martinson Elementary is the only 2-star school, at the 47th percentile, with ELA at 35.14% and science at 34.38%; it also declined in every subject from 2024–2025. Furnace Brook Middle remains 4 stars and above state averages, but its percentile has slipped from 81 to 78 to 71 over three years. Grade-level results also vary sharply within schools, so school-wide averages can hide very different experiences.
