Open Quote I am a parent of a student that used to go to FBCS. I have both good and bad to say about the school. First, I think the environment for the students is excellent and I do believe that the administration does a great job with teaching the facts of the Bible. However, on that note, the do fall a little short on the academics and fundamentals for the other subjects, especially Math and English. I took my child out as she wanted to go to the public school system since they had more after school clubs and activities. I was a little shocked to find out that she was way behind in Math and English and did not know alot of the material even though her grades at FBCS said otherwise. She has struggled in these areas but is now on target. I think that if you want to send you child here for a good "Christian" background education then they will get it, just not for the other main subjects. Also, please do as I did and contact the State Board of Education and ask them about accredidation. I know when my child left there, they were not accredited by the state only state approved. However, this may have changed. I wish you well and good luck in trying to find the right fit for your child. God bless. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
