The district is home to three standout 5-star schools that rank among the best in Louisiana: Stockwell Place Elementary School (ranked 23rd in the state), Legacy Elementary School (24th), and Kingston Elementary School (29th). These schools boast exceptional proficiency rates, with Stockwell Place and Legacy both achieving 91% in Math and Kingston reaching 90%. At the other end of the spectrum, Waller Elementary School (ranked 642nd), Bossier Elementary School (590th), and Meadowview Elementary School (576th) face significant challenges, with Waller posting the district's lowest Math proficiency at 28% and Bossier Elementary recording the lowest ELA (44%) and Social Studies (26%) scores. A notable success story is W.T. Lewis Elementary School, which improved its state ranking by 146 places over two years, jumping from the 64th to the 86th percentile.
