Zip code 41314 has three schools serving prekindergarten through grade 12: Owsley County Elementary School, Highland-Turner Elementary School and Owsley County High School, with 911 students across the Owsley County and Breathitt County districts. The clearest takeaway is that elementary performance is sharply uneven: Highland-Turner leads in shared grades, while Owsley County Elementary’s reported scores are below the state in every subject and grade.
