Marion County Middle School serves 290 students in grades 6–8 in Lebanon, Kentucky, and is one of several middle schools serving families in the surrounding area. Its most important distinction is that its latest reported results were above state and district averages in every subject, while its SchoolDigger statewide percentile was the highest among the six nearby schools compared.

The clearest advantage is seventh-grade science: 45% of students were proficient, compared with 28% statewide, 31% in the Marion County district, and 24% on average at the other nearby schools. The school also led nearby schools in average math and reading across grades 6–8, with 56% proficient in math and 61% in reading.
