Summary

Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts is a K–5 school in Louisville’s Jefferson County, serving 578 students. Its 2025–2026 results show a relative bright spot in reading: average proficiency in grades 3–5 was 45%, compared with 38% in the district and 50% statewide. The clearest concern is writing: grade 5 proficiency was 9%, versus 25% in the district and 35% statewide, and Lincoln had one of the lowest reported scores among nearby schools.

Reading is one of Lincoln’s stronger results against nearby schools, while writing is among its weakest. The strongest nearby schools, Bloom Elementary and Field Elementary, generally had higher scores.

Results have fallen over the longer term, despite recent gains in several subjects. From 2022–2023 to 2025–2026, average proficiency fell 10 points in math, 7 in reading, 12 in writing and 17 in social studies; the state gap widened in every tested subject. SchoolDigger ranks Lincoln 528th of 684 schools, at the 23rd percentile with 1 star in 2025–2026. That is a 6-point rise from 2024–2025, but still 29 points below its 2021–2022 percentile. SchoolDigger’s effectiveness ranking for Low Socio Economic Status Students is at the 7th percentile, compared with 23rd overall; its ranking for Multi-racial Students rose to the 60th percentile in 2025–2026.
