Millbrooke Elementary School serves 610 students in kindergarten through fifth grade in Hopkinsville, in Christian County. Its latest results place it near the top of nearby schools in SchoolDigger’s overall ranking, but performance varies sharply by grade. Fifth graders did especially well in reading and math, while fourth graders fell behind the state, district and nearby-school averages in both subjects. The most important takeaway is that Millbrooke’s strong fifth-grade results do not reflect an equally strong experience across all grades.

Fifth-grade Editing and Mechanics is Millbrooke’s clearest strength: 67% of students were proficient, compared with 48% statewide, 51% districtwide and a nearby-school average of about 47%. Results have shifted in different directions over time: the three-grade math average fell from 51% in 2022–2023 to 45% in 2025–2026, while reading rose from 47% to 51%; fifth-grade Writing dropped 14 points, but Science rose 12 points and Editing and Mechanics rose 9. SchoolDigger gives Millbrooke a 59th-percentile ranking and three stars (279th of 684), the highest percentile among nearby schools with rank data; its ranking has rebounded from 40 in 2018–2019 but remains below its 76 in 2015–2016.
