Cub Run has one listed school, Cub Run Elementary School, serving students in PK–8. With no other local schools, families can compare its grade-level results with state results, but not with another school in Cub Run. The clearest concern in the latest results is grade 8 mathematics: Cub Run scored 12%, compared with 39% statewide, a 27-point shortfall.
Within the school, the strongest reported results relative to the state were in grade 5 editing and mechanics and social studies. Cub Run scored 61% in editing and mechanics versus 48% statewide, and 52% in social studies versus 38%—13 and 14 points higher, respectively.
