Bloomfield, Kentucky, has two public schools serving prekindergarten through eighth grade: Bloomfield Elementary School (PK–5) and Bloomfield Middle School (grades 6–8), both in Nelson County. In 2025–2026, most reported test results were below state benchmarks. Across both schools, the average gap was about 12 percentage points below the state; each school’s average gap was also about 12 points below.
