Summary:

Zip code 67646 has two schools in the Logan district: Logan Elementary serves pre-K through grade 6, and Logan High serves grades 7–12. Enrollment is 76 at the elementary school and 49 at the high school. In 2025–2026, both schools had very low chronic absenteeism—about 3% and 2%, respectively, compared with 18% statewide. The clearest takeaway is that the high school was above the state in all three reported subjects, while elementary math was below it.

Logan High had the stronger all-grades results in 2025–2026: about 48% in ELA, 43% in math, and 47% in science, compared with about 47%, 39%, and 38% at Logan Elementary. The gap was widest in science, at 8 points, and smallest in ELA, at less than 1 point. Against the state, the high school was ahead by 2 points in ELA, 2 in math, and 8 in science; the elementary school was 2 points below state in math and roughly level with it in science. Grade-level results at the elementary school also vary sharply: grade 6 math was 19 points above state, while grade 5 math was 30 points below.

Recent changes were mixed rather than uniformly positive or negative. From 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, elementary results rose 6 points in ELA and 11 in math, but fell 16 in science; high school ELA was nearly unchanged, while math fell 8 points and science 17. SchoolDigger lists the district at rank 170 of 268, in the 37th percentile, with 2 stars; it reports the elementary school’s percentile rising from 37 to 44 between 2023–2024 and 2025–2026. The schools also differ in student-teacher ratios (10.8 at the elementary school and 5.4 at the high school) and free/reduced-lunch rates (55% and 45%, respectively), which are context, not explanations for results. Because the schools serve different grades and have small enrollments, their all-grades results are not direct grade-matched comparisons.
