Schools in ZIP code 67301 include five schools in Independence, serving prekindergarten through grade 12: Eisenhower Elementary, Jefferson School, Independence Middle, Independence Senior High and BRIDGES Academy. Enrollment ranges from 24 at BRIDGES to 550 at Senior High. Eisenhower has no supplied test scores, and the schools’ differing grade spans mean their all-grades results are not exact like-for-like comparisons. Among the three conventional-grade-span schools with scores, average proficiency is 4 percentage points below the state in English Language Arts (ELA), 8 points below in math and 2 points below in science, making science the strongest subject relative to the state overall.
