Pretty Prairie, Kansas, has three schools serving students from prekindergarten through grade 12: Pretty Prairie Elementary (133 students), Pretty Prairie Middle (68), and Pretty Prairie High (82). The clearest area-wide takeaway is that math results vary much more by school than a single average suggests: proficiency ranges from 61% at Elementary to 30% at High, a 31-point gap.
Pretty Prairie Elementary is the standout: it leads all three schools in 2025–26 ELA (55%), math (61%) and science (45%), and each result is above the state’s 46%, 41% and 38%, respectively.
