Fairview Elementary School is a PK–4 school in Richmond, Indiana, serving 259 students as part of Richmond Community Schools, a district ranked 286th of 374 districts in Indiana (24th percentile, 1 star); it ranked 776th of 1,015 Indiana elementary schools in 2025–2026 (24th percentile, 1 star).

The school’s recent trend is more encouraging than its overall standing: its rank percentile rose from 14% in 2023–2024 to 24% in 2025–2026, up from as low as 8% in 2018–2019. Math is a relative strength, with 36.08% proficiency compared with the district’s 26.82%—about 9.3 percentage points above the district—though still below state grade-level benchmarks. ELA is 24.74%, essentially the district average but below the state, and science is 27.08%.
