Southwestern Con School Shelby County is a small Indiana district with just two schools — Southwestern Elementary School, serving grades PK–6 with 405 students, and Southwestern High School, serving grades 7–12 with 264 students, so there is no standalone middle school and grades 7–8 are housed in the high school. Together they enroll about 669 students, with the elementary school holding roughly 60.5% of them. The district ranks 90 of 374 statewide, placing it in the 76th percentile with 4 stars.

Southwestern High School is the district's biggest story.
