Summary:
ZIP code 61610 has two schools serving preschool through eighth grade: LaSalle Elementary School (PK–4, 262 students) and Parkview Junior High School (grades 5–8, 193 students), both in Creve Coeur School District 76. In 2025–2026, both schools’ all-grades IAR results were below state results, but the two-school average was closer to the state in math than in ELA: 26% versus 40% in math, and 34% versus 56% in ELA. The clearest area-wide takeaway is that the schools’ average math result was 14 points below the state, compared with a 23-point gap in ELA.
LaSalle stands out on the all-grades comparison, leading Parkview by 8 points in ELA (38% versus 30%) and 18 points in math (35% versus 17%); LaSalle was still below the state in both subjects. Parkview’s results vary notably by grade: its 5th-grade ELA and science were about even with state results, at 55% in each, while its 8th-grade science was 19%, 33 points below the state’s 52%. These all-grades comparisons are not grade-matched because the schools serve different grades.
From 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, the two-school average rose by 6 points in ELA and 9 in math, and the average gaps with the state narrowed by 3 and 7 points, respectively. That improvement did not occur evenly: LaSalle’s ELA fell by 3 points, while Parkview’s rose by 15; both schools’ math scores increased. SchoolDigger’s reported percentile for LaSalle declined from 37 in 2023–2024 to 21 in 2025–2026; Parkview’s fell from 24 in 2022–2023 to 9 in 2023–2024 and stayed at 9 in 2024–2025. In 2024–2025, student–teacher ratios were 11.9 at LaSalle and 10.1 at Parkview; both reported free/reduced lunch eligible figures for that year, at 79% and 78%. Chronic absenteeism in 2025–2026 was 29% at LaSalle and 31% at Parkview, versus 24% statewide.
