Chippewa could be a great school if they would get their act together. They do not make parents aware of things. If your child gets hurt at school, a note will not be sent home. If you call in to ask about any injury, everyone will point the finger to someone else. The Health Aide is extremely rude. Parents are not notified of things happening in a timely manner. At one point in 2014 portions of childrens lunches were being thrown away because staff assumed they contained nuts, without reading the ingredients to confirm. Children were left w/ out complete lunches and parents were never notified that this was happening. 8 weeks into the year some parents were told that nonperishable parts of their kids lunches were in a box in the office and they could "sort through it". The teachers and district nurse are amazing but the administration is severely lacking. The health aide needs to be replaced. Close Quote
