R O W V A Junior and Senior High School in Oneida, Illinois, serves 248 students in grades 7–12 in a community near Galva, Galesburg and AlWood. The most important concern is all-grade math: in 2025–26, 22% of students met proficiency, 17 percentage points below the state and 16 below the district.

Results are mixed, with eighth-grade science a clear strength and math and ELA weaker than nearby comparisons. Eighth-grade science proficiency was 57%, above the state’s 52% and the 50% average at Galva Junior-Senior High School and AlWood Middle/High School. All-grade ELA was 47%, compared with 56% statewide and 55% in the R O W V A Cusd 208; it was also 24 points below Galva and AlWood’s average. Results have improved in some areas, but not consistently. All-grade ELA rose 8 points from 2023–24 to 2025–26, while math stayed at 22%; the math gap to the state widened by 1 point. Graduation climbed 17 points over that period. Its student-teacher ratio was 7.8 in 2024–25, the lowest in the group, and 36% of students were free/reduced lunch eligible that year.
