Huntley Middle School in DeKalb, Illinois, serves grades 6–8 and enrolls 865 students, the largest enrollment among the nearby schools listed. In 2025–2026, its proficiency rates were close to those of DeKalb CUSD 428, but well below state results. The biggest concern is that Huntley’s performance remains substantially behind the state, with ELA showing the largest gap: 32% proficient, compared with 56% statewide.
