Open Quote When I first walked into Bateman I felt un-welcomed, it was cold, unfriendly, I could not believe the tone of the teachers I met and the lack of respect they had for me as a parent. When I finally met the principal of the school after serval months I realized why the teachers where able to act the way that they did, the principal sets the tone. It is a school that I feel in not the place for children with disability or disorders, they do not have the warm, the understanding, or concern about the over all child's needs. Every child has a voice every child deserve to feel safe, welcomed, happy, and given the same type of education and respect. This school I fill has no ideal no concern about the best interest of a child with special need. They take advantage of the parents who do not understand there right, do not speak the lanuage, that our to busy working to make ends meet, to help them protect there children right to a education that best fits them and there needs. Again it is what I have wittiness when dealing with my child, the thing is that they just don't care... Close Quote
