Parkview Elementary School serves 552 students in kindergarten through fifth grade in Carpentersville, in CUSD 300. SchoolDigger’s ranking dropped 16 percentile points in the latest year; only Golfview Elementary School and Meadowdale Elementary School ranked lower among these nearby schools. Attendance is another concern: chronic absenteeism was 30% in 2025–2026, the second-highest rate in the group, though down 4 points from 2021–2022. For context, 80% of students were free/reduced lunch eligible in 2024–2025, and the student-teacher ratio was 14.1, near the nearby-school average.
