Summary:

O Fallon CCSD 90 has seven schools: five elementary schools serving prekindergarten or kindergarten through grade 5, and two junior highs serving grades 6–8. In 2025–2026, the schools’ average all-grades proficiency was 70% in English language arts (ELA) and 59% in mathematics, compared with state figures of 56% and 40%. Every school scored above the state in both subjects, but results varied substantially from school to school.

Fulton Junior High School led in ELA at 80%—24 percentage points above the state and 10 points above the schools’ average. In mathematics, J Emmett Hinchcliffe Senior Elementary School and Delores Moye Elementary School were nearly tied at 67.9% and 67.6%, respectively. Delores Moye also had strong ELA results at 74%. At the other end, Laverna Evans Elementary School had the lowest all-grades results: 58% in ELA and 50% in mathematics. Its grade 5 science score, however, rose from 41% to 70% between the reported years.

School-average results improved from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026 by 2 percentage points in ELA and 1 point in mathematics, while the state’s ELA gain was 3 points. SchoolDigger’s statewide percentile rankings were lower for every school than in 2023–2024, including drops from 92 to 82 for Hinchcliffe and 71 to 61 for Laverna. Other measures offer context, not an explanation for scores: student-teacher ratios range from 14.5 at Delores Moye to 18.5 at Fulton, and all schools report free/reduced lunch eligible figures for 2024–2025, from 19% at Fulton to 42% at Laverna. School-level differences remain important even though every school is above state proficiency figures.
