Summary:

The three schools in Lawrence County CUD 20 serve prekindergarten through grade 12, with 1,061 students across elementary, junior high and high school. In 2025–2026, each school’s reported school-level test results were below state averages, though some individual grades did better. Math is the most consistent concern: all-grades results were 29% at Parkside Elementary School and 22% at Parkview Junior High School, compared with 40% statewide; Lawrenceville High School’s PreACT math results were also well below state results. The clearest shared takeaway is that math results lag state averages more consistently than ELA.

SchoolDigger gives all three schools one star; its 2025–2026 rankings place Parkside at the 31st percentile, Lawrenceville High at the 23rd and Parkview at the 21st. Parkside’s strongest supplied result is grade 4 ELA: 60% proficient, 4 points above the state. Parkview also has a grade-level bright spot in grade 8 ELA, at 64%, 1 point above the state; its grade 6 ELA result is 35%, 24 points below. At Lawrenceville High, grade 9 PreACT ELA is 53%, its strongest latest high-school figure, but 8 points below the state; grade 9 math is 16%, 26 points below. Because schools serve different grades and use different assessments, their overall scores are not direct school-to-school comparisons; the grade 11 ACT math school result is suppressed.

Results over time are mixed: across 14 comparable subject-and-grade tracks, six school–state gaps narrowed, seven widened and one held steady, with an average gap change of 1 point wider. Parkview math improved from 15% to 22%, while its SchoolDigger ranking fell from the 40th to the 21st percentile; Lawrenceville High’s grade 11 ACT science rose from 34% to 40%, while its ranking declined from the 39th to the 23rd percentile. Chronic absenteeism is above the state’s 24% at each school, ranging from 30% at Parkside to 37% at Parkview. The 2024–2025 free/reduced lunch eligible measure ranges from 57% at Lawrenceville High to 71% at Parkside. Student-teacher ratios range from 9.7 at Lawrenceville High to 13.3 at Parkside; these are context, not explanations for test results.
