The three schools in Delavan CUSD 703 serve students from prekindergarten through grade 12: Delavan Elementary School has 191 students, Delavan Junior High School has 55, and Delavan High School has 129, for 375 students total. The most important finding is that High’s recent results are notably strong in English language arts and science, but weaker in grade-11 math.
Delavan High School stands out most against state results: grade-11 ACT ELA was 71% versus 50% statewide, 22 points higher, and science was 57% versus 48%, 9 points higher. Its math result was 31% versus 40%, 8 points lower.
