Summary:
Creve Coeur School District 76 has two schools serving prekindergarten through grade 8: LaSalle Elementary School serves prekindergarten–grade 4, and Parkview Junior High School serves grades 5–8. In 2025–2026 all-grades IAR results, both schools were below state proficiency rates: LaSalle scored 38% in ELA and 35% in math, versus 56% and 40% statewide; Parkview scored 30% and 17%. The most important finding is that results are below state levels at both schools, with especially large gaps for Parkview.
LaSalle stands out relative to Parkview, leading by 8 percentage points in ELA and 18 points in math. Parkview’s all-grades results are 27 points below the state in ELA and 23 points below in math; LaSalle is 18 points below in ELA and 4 points below in math. Parkview has a notable grade-level exception: grade 5 ELA was 55.0%, just 0.1 point above the state’s 54.9%. But its grade 8 science result was 19%, 33 points below the state. The schools serve different grade spans, so their all-grades results are not like-for-like comparisons.
Results improved year over year overall, though not consistently at each school: Parkview rose 15 points in ELA and 9 in math, while LaSalle gained 8 points in math but fell 3 in ELA. SchoolDigger ranks the district 674th of 738, in the 9th percentile, with 0 stars; its school ranking histories also place both schools low statewide. Attendance is a shared concern: chronic absenteeism was 29% at LaSalle and 31% at Parkview, compared with 24% statewide. In 2024–2025, free/reduced lunch eligible rates were similar—79% at LaSalle and 78% at Parkview—while student–teacher ratios were 11.9 and 10.1, respectively; these are contextual observations, not explanations for test results.
