Summary:
Summit, Illinois, has one listed middle school, Heritage Middle School, serving grades 6–8 and enrolling 447 students. There is no other listed Summit middle school to compare it with. In 2025–2026, 48% of Heritage students were proficient in all-grade ELA and 29% in all-grade math, compared with 56% and 40% statewide; the most important finding is that both schoolwide results remained below state rates, by 8 and 10 percentage points, respectively.
