The district sits at the 52nd percentile statewide, but that ranking hides wide variation, from standout Valley View at the 80th percentile to Mount Hall at just the 45th.

Valley View Elementary School is the clear standout: ranked 70th of 346 Idaho elementary schools (4 stars) and improving for three straight years, it posts the district's highest math (58.3%) and ELA (65.9%) proficiency among non-high schools despite having the highest free/reduced lunch rate (45.7%), along with the lowest chronic absenteeism (6.7%).
