Open Quote I liked it there but now I guess there are teams like they have at Kirn and Wilson. I thought not having the teams made our middle school more unique to me because you can meet all the kids in your grade. Also you started going there when you entered 6th grade not 7th but that has changed for Kirn and Wilson now as well. I am now a senior at LCHS and love how the teachers help me at LC.I have only gone to Lewis Central because my mom says that the school is a harder school and I believe that. At AL or TJ you only need 45 credits to graduate and I as a senior need 55 but it is going to change. I believe to 60.We have trimesters not Quarters and only have 6 classes a day but that may change due to credits. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
