Carrington Academy Windermere

My child moved to the Carrington Academy Windermere campus after our previous campus was closed due to Covid enrollment. He was doing very well at the initial campus, but we started to see a change in his behavior and learning after a month at Windermere. We believed this was due to multiple concerns we had about the Windermere location. The Carrington class enrollment guidelines for the Beginner classes were not being followed. We were told the student: teacher ratio was 15:2 with a third teacher added at 16 children. The class contained 19 two year olds with two teachers. Instead of telling parents the class was full, they continued to accept enrollment until they were at the state’s regulation limit. Additionally, my son’s classroom had a rotating teaching staff. He had seven different teachers over the six months that he remained at Carrington Windermere. When you enroll at a daycare like Carrington, the expectation is your child is receiving a school and not just a daycare experience. That is not the case at the Carrington Windermere campus. My family finally decided to change daycares due to multiple concerns we had over the six months he remained there and after just a week at his new school, he is back to his old self. Unfortunately, I would not recommend sending your child to this Carrington location if you are looking for an educational experience.
