Open Quote Very dissatisfied with the acceptance of low level of education. It appears that most of the students that have graduated from Bethlehem Christian Academy have dropped out of college. I noticed that once again the administration has changed job titles and duties. Why don't they stay in a job for more than one year. This is my last year at this school and plan to move my children to another school next year. Close Quote

Open Quote This is my first year at BCA, we transferred from another small private school that closed. During our tour and conversations with different administration at BCA we were very impressed with what they had to say. Great sales pitch but the problem that I have found is most of what I was told was not correct information. It seems like my questions were answered with what they thought I wanted to hear. I have also been amazed at the number of teachers I have talked to that have little to no respect for administration. Telling me to always double check what they say because most of the time they do not follow thru with anything. Last but not least, the total confusion and lack of organization is just beyond me. It is like the entire school is being managed as a small preschool not a reputable private school. Close Quote

Open Quote Very Disappointed in the lack of organization and administration. Most of the teachers are wonderful and willing to go the extra mile for my children. As for the Administration that is another story. The promises and lack of accountability is beyond acceptable. I don't understand how a Board of Directors allow such dysfunctional employees to continue to run the school. Many examples of how the administration promises change, organization, growth, prizes to kids, etc... and they are just lies. When you lie to a parent to get thru a issue or conservation is one thing but when you do it to the kids thats wrong. What foundation are you building? It takes more than just teachers that care and love these children it takes leaders that know how to lead not just someone put into a position because they have worked at the school for a period of time. Where is the justification for this incompetent Administration. When is the Board of Directors going to take a stand and get a administration to run this school and stop flip flopping depending on the person involved or day of the week? Maybe if the staff and students respects the administration your retention rate will increase. Close Quote

Open Quote Attending a great school takes more than great teachers. It seems like most of the teachers at BCA are loving and care about the students but it takes more to educate a child and prepare them for the future. BCA has experienced growth over the past few years but also experienced and very bad retention rate. Of course nobody wants to talk about it. Two years ago BCA had a great growth rate because another local private school replaced their Head Master and many left the school. This year BCA is experiencing growth due to Hope Christian Academy closing. It appears there is no future growth potential for BCA. If you look at the high rate of not reenrolling after students experience BCA for just one to two years that should tell you something. As for the clubs they claim to have well yes they tell you they have all these great clubs but they really don’t exist or if they do they are disorganized and a waste of time. Yes the sports program seems to be growing but that’s another situation I would not want my children involved in. When coaches use profanity at the players and degrade students in order to get them to participate in sports, that is not a program you want your children involved in. Close Quote
