Summary

Clubview Elementary School in Columbus, GA, serves 566 students in Pre-K through 5th grade within the Muscogee County School District, and it stands out as a strong academic performer in an area where many nearby schools struggle to reach state averages.

Clubview’s math and science scores are a clear bright spot. In 2025-2026, 3rd grade math proficiency hit 46%, 4th grade reached 47.7%, and 5th grade posted 43.9%—all close to or above state averages and far ahead of most neighbors. For example, 3rd grade math at Reese Road Leadership Academy was just 13.6%, and 5th grade science at Clubview (50%) outpaced the next closest nearby school, Rigdon Road Elementary School (47.5%). The school also excels at keeping kids in class: its chronic absenteeism rate is only 7.9%, compared to 19.5% for the district and 17.7% statewide. That’s dramatically better than schools like Fox Elementary (29.5%) or Gentian Elementary (24.1%). Clubview achieves these results while spending less per student ($14,914) than many peers, including Hannan Elementary ($19,254) and Johnson Elementary ($17,567).

It’s worth noting that Clubview’s performance is especially impressive given that about 66% of its students qualify for free or reduced lunch—a much higher share than at Britt David Elementary Computer Magnet Academy, a top-rated magnet school nearby where only about 17% of students face economic disadvantage. While Britt David posts near-perfect scores, Clubview’s results are strong for its student population, and the school serves all subgroups consistently, with no major gaps between male, female, African American, or White students. The school has earned a 3-star rating and ranks in the 59th percentile statewide, a solid middle-to-upper tier position. While its ranking has dipped from a 4-star level in prior years, that shift aligns with changes in the surrounding community, not a drop in school quality. For parents seeking a dependable, efficient, and welcoming elementary school in Columbus, Clubview is a standout choice.

Open Quote Clubview is a fantastic school with caring, enthusiastic teachers. The IB program is excellent and exposes my kids to ideas and concepts that are not addressed in other schools. My kids are excited to go to school. I am amazed at their progress! Close Quote

Open Quote Clubview has many wonderful qualities; among them, are parental involvement, caring teachers, a wonderful additional language program, and many offerings for students after school. Both of my children attended Clubview for all of their elementary years. They developed academic skills that exceeded state and national averages, but also developed confidence, leadership skills, and became invested in making a difference in the world. Close Quote
