Open Quote Cartersville High School is a wonderful high school that includes many fun tradition for students and parents to participate in. The majority of the teachers take a personal interest in each student and students are treated fairly. CHS has very high standards for both academic and athletic performance. Jay Floyd has been a wonderful principal for the many years he has been there and he keeps a close eye on all of the hand selected teachers and new students. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
