Open Quote This is an amazing school my child has been there 2 years and I cannot imagine her going anywhere else. This summer she went to another school for summer camp and told me daily she "couldn't feel the love" she is so used to amazing atmosphere at SEA. Great alternative to the cog in a wheel schools or even the top schools nearby. Blessed to find them. Close Quote

Open Quote SEA is a tremendous school academically. That is unquestioned in the Longwood/Heathrow/Lake Mary communities. However, it's not the best reason to send your child to school there. The environment and, specifically, the "Kind Zone" is the reason to go there. The teachers and staff foster an environment where academic excellence is expected, but treating others with kindness and respect is mandatory. If you want your child to go to school in a kind, nuturing environment while obtaining a tremendous foundation for academic excellence in middle school and beyond, then Sweetwater Episcopal Academy is your school. Open Quote This is an incredible school. The academics are top-notch, but the personal attention they give every student is what sets this school apart from the others. If a child is ahead in one subject, they are pulled out and taught at an advanced level. The same applies if a child needs a little extra help in an area. This school sets the bar high and makes sure every child meets and exceeds it. Their motto is "Maximizing every child's potential" and they certainly live up to that! Also, it is a very warm and friendly place for both the students and the parents. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
