Open Quote My daughter is in Kindergarden going to 1st grade next year. Her teacher is super nice and has taught her so much. The people in the office have to be a little more attentive to the people coming into the school. When I go in no one ask "may I help you?" I have to say what I am there for. There has been times that im standing there and I do not even get a hello or a smile. I am not saying they are rude just that they should smile more often. The staff seems nice and my daughter likes all her teachers. Close Quote

Open Quote The school does the best it can with their students. Unfortunately, it appears that the school is understaffed, but those teachers that are there, are working extremely hard and they go unappreciated. Several teachers use their own personal funds to supply the students with needed materials such as pencils, paper, educational games, and etc. There is a large lack of involvement and returned communication from other parents too. As a parent, I cannot thank the teachers enough for the support they provide to the students. They go beyond measures to help the students pass. Close Quote

Open Quote The level of bullying in this school is astonishing. The staff and teachers just ignore the issues and bad kids are allowed to behave out of line more so due to favoritism. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
