Open Quote This is horrible school to bring a child in!

I will start with a story:
Three years ago, my 5 years old daughter on her first day in kindergarten at the end of the school day was sent somewhere on a bus instead of aftercare program where she was supposed to go. Luckily, I got a call from a stranger from the neighborhood where she was dropped off pretty far away from our house. My child was alone, scared and crying. Do you want this to happen to your child on the first day of school? Any day of school?
The personnel is very rude, the principal is low energy not interested in doing anything, just getting by. If any emergency happens - everything goes to hell. To say it is disorganized is not to say anything. It seems to impossible for staff who work there to get things right, or to give even simple instructions. Chaotic, disorganized, not caring. Open Quote This school should be avoided because of poor principal leadership. The school officials do not communicate with parents and exclude certain parents from their children's education. POOR school. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
