Open Quote Principal's decisions are based on emotion with personal career gains under the guise of doing what's best.
It seems the new principal is inexperienced but fearful of it being seen.
Uses corporate tactics to deligate and manipulate staff to attain what can be described as a "click" loyalty.
This redirected focus takes away from what should be a memorable experience for transitioning youth into adulthood.
Gestapo based tactics. Close Quote

Open Quote Belleview produced more Bright Futures scholarships among their 2015 graduating class than any other school in Marion County. Their Cambridge program has saved us a lot of money by helping our two children qualify for the Bright Futures by earning their AICE diplomas.. Close Quote

Open Quote The teachers and school bored exspect us to pass the FCAT however they dont run threw everything we need to know; because someone changed what were supose to learn. Causing us to not fully comprehend some of the infermation we are learning based on the short amount of time we are getting to learn it. Learning it in one class period and then moving on to the next lesson the next class period, does not allow us to remember what we have just learned and thats if you even learned it. This mostly applies to Geometry. The formulas and equasions that Geometry needs you to memarize is not easliy done. However the fact of the matter is they dont even give you the oppertunity to actually learn the infermation given. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
