Open Quote This school is the worst of the worst for kids and parents. They are extremely 2 faced. My autistic child's kindergarten teacher bullied and made fun of him in front of everyone. So much so that my employee I hired 2yrs later heard about it.
Then when my youngest was 5yrs old he went out to do cheerleading. At the time , the coach was my oldest child's 2nd grade teacher. She rolled her eyes and walked away, loudly saying she wouldn't coach him because he is a boy. She made him feel like he was 2 inches tall and cry his eyes out. They have time after time solely cared about their reputation over my child's well-being.

When my oldest was in Kindergarten, we tried to get him into the 504 plan. They kept belittling me and kept saying they needed a written diagnosis of autism. 3x I went to the specialist (not easy to get an appointment). On the last visit the doctor showed me the written diagnosis that they had all along. The next day I went into the office and demanded to see his files. Sure enough they had it all along and cost my son the help he should've had all year long. When I went in and blew up, they said ,"there is nothing we can do now so let's move on". They could care less they screwed up and treated me as a horrible parent. My son deserved all the help he should've gotten.

My autistic son has been a challenge and we have been very candid about our struggles with the school, looking for help. 3x they have called DCF on us instead of trying to help. They would act very concerned and that night DCF has showed up at our door. Everytime it was with no findings. We do not abuse our children. We adopted my oldest at 10 months from a horrible situation. He has every doctor and therapist imaginable.

They have done NOTHING to help but they sure will smile when you go in. All the while, they call DCF. Who else can we turn to for help than people that should care about the child? Never in my life would I imagine such fakeness. I have testimonials from other parents with similar situations. I am going to go to the school board AGAIN. If you can help it, go to another school. Any school has to be better. I know I will be be looking for next year. Close Quote
