Open Quote My son graduated this past year and my daughter is a sophmore. I can't say enough about how great this school is. My son was very well prepared for college and had an amazing array of outside opportunities which only added to his college prep resume. He also had a lot of fun in high school with all-school hikes, wilderness field trips and other fun group activities. Even kids that aren't that into nature and ecology can benefit from the school's ecological focus. My son didn't take that many "ecology" type course work and he wasn't pressured to do so. He took a very traditional set of high school classes and did very well due to the excellent instruction he received. There are fewer AP's offered than you will find at a large school but the ones that you do take are very well taught and supported so if you study hard you will do well on the AP exams which is what matters most about AP's. My daughter is a current Sophmore and is very challenged by her coursework. She's found a very nice group of friends and because the school is quite small can get help from teachers anytime she feels she needs it. My son was literally accepted into 12 colleges! And I expect the same thing will happen for my daughter. If you are serious about college for your child I highly recommend CG. Not only will your child get a great high school education they will have a wonderful experience as well. What more could one ask for from a high school? Close Quote
