The school has a long track record of strong academic performance, earning top rankings on SchoolDigger in nearly every year since 2015–2016. In the most recent ranking year (2025–2026), Evergreen Middle School ranked 51st out of 469 Colorado middle schools, placing it in the 89th percentile statewide. Its student body is relatively economically advantaged, with only 12.55% of students eligible for free/reduced lunch, one of the lowest rates among nearby schools.

Academically, Evergreen outpaces district and state averages by wide margins.
