Centennial Elementary School is a K-5 public school in Evans, CO, serving 481 students as part of the Greeley School District No. 6. The school currently holds a 0-star rating and ranks 922nd out of 943 Colorado elementary schools, placing it in the 2nd percentile statewide and making it one of the lowest-performing elementary schools in Colorado. Its state ranking has fallen steadily over the past five years, from the 20th percentile in 2021–2022 down to the 2nd percentile in 2025–2026. This is not a one-year dip but a sustained downward trend.

On a more hopeful note, Centennial has shown it can deliver above-district results, as it did in 5th-grade science in 2023–2024 (26.1% vs. 22.0% district). By focusing on attendance and early literacy, the school has a path forward — and nearby schools with similar demographics prove stronger outcomes are attainable.
