Summit Elementary School is a PK–5 school in Aurora, CO, serving 337 students within the Cherry Creek School District No. 5, a top-ranked district where about half of Summit's students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. The school has made remarkable progress in recent years, climbing from the 24th percentile statewide in 2022–2023 to the 43rd percentile in 2025–2026. It now ranks 4th among 11 nearby elementary schools, ahead of neighbors like Cimarron Elementary School and Mission Viejo Elementary School, though still well behind top performers Trails West Elementary School and Indian Ridge Elementary School.
