ZIP code 95391 has eight schools: seven elementary schools serving kindergarten through grade 8 and Mountain House High, serving grades 9–12. In 2025–2026, the average across the eight schools was 77% in ELA, 72% in math and 70% in science, compared with state rates of 49%, 38% and 36%. Every school was above the state rate in all three subjects, but the difference between the highest- and lowest-scoring schools was 22 points in ELA, 33 in math and 25 in science. The most important takeaway is that results are strong relative to the state, but vary considerably from school to school.
Julius Cordes Elementary leads in ELA and math, with 88% and 89% of students proficient; those results are 13 and 20 percentage points above the average of the other seven schools.
