Summary:

ZIP code 91915 has four schools serving 4,901 students: three elementary schools, including K–8 Arroyo Vista Charter, and one high school, Eastlake High; there are no middle or alternative schools in the list. The clearest standout is Eastlake: in 2025–26, its all-grades proficiency was 82% in ELA, 56% in math and 72% in science, respectively 33, 18 and 36 points above state results. Its 97% graduation rate was 9 points above the state. One important exception is 12th-grade science, where Eastlake scored 17%, 16 points below the state.

Among the two K–6 schools with 2025–26 results, both were above state averages in all three subjects, but their strengths differed. Olympic View Elementary narrowly led ELA at 64.4%, compared with 63.7% at Camarena (Enrique S.) Elementary; Camarena led math by 6 points and science by 6 points. Their margins over the state ranged from 7 to 20 points. Arroyo Vista Charter has no 2025–26 scores, but its 2024–25 eighth-graders stood out: ELA was 89% versus 48% statewide, and math was 70% versus 34%. Its third-grade math result was more mixed, at 41% versus 46% statewide. These differences mean a school’s overall results may not reflect every grade or subject.

Recent trends are mixed rather than uniformly rising. Eastlake’s scores increased from 2024–25 to 2025–26 in math and science, by 5 and 9 points, while ELA was nearly unchanged; SchoolDigger’s ranking improved from 227th of 2,159 schools (89th percentile) to 113th of 2,137 (95th percentile). At the two K–6 schools, the average science margin over the state narrowed from 17 points to 10, largely as Olympic View’s science result fell 9 points; Camarena’s rose 3 points. As context, 2024–25 free/reduced lunch eligible rates ranged from 23% at Eastlake to 39% at Olympic View, and elementary student–teacher ratios ranged from 22.2 to 24.5. The supplied data do not include Arroyo Vista’s 2025–26 test results.
