Five K–5 elementary schools are located in ZIP code 91304; four have 2025–2026 proficiency results, while Ingenium Charter’s latest results are from 2024–2025. The current results show a wide spread: the gap between the highest- and lowest-scoring schools is 31 percentage points in ELA, 40 in math and 36 in science. The most important finding is that this is a mixed group, not a uniformly high- or low-performing set of schools.
Justice Street Academy Charter leads current ELA and math, with 73% and 69% proficient, respectively; those results are 23 and 30 points above state results. SchoolDigger’s three-year percentile ranking rose for Pomelo, from the 79th to the 84th percentile, and Nevada, from the 35th to the 40th, but fell for Justice, from the 91st to the 88th, and Capistrano, from the 77th to the 70th. As context, 2024–2025 free/reduced lunch eligibility ranged from 32% at Pomelo and 42% at Justice to 81% at Capistrano and 87% at Nevada; these reported figures are observations, not explanations for test results. Justice had the highest student-teacher ratio, 23.8, while Nevada had the lowest, 18.4—another reminder that these measures alone do not sort schools by achievement.
