ZIP code 91303 has two high schools serving grades 9–12 in Los Angeles Unified: Canoga Park Senior High, with 1,389 students, and the much smaller, 79-student Owensmouth Continuation. Their reported results show differences in academics as well as attendance and completion. Most strikingly, chronic absenteeism was 78% at Owensmouth versus 31% at Canoga Park, a 46-point gap; Owensmouth also had a lower graduation rate and a higher dropout rate.
Canoga Park leads the all-grades proficiency comparisons for 2025–2026, ahead of Owensmouth by 10 points in ELA, 16 in math and 7 in science.
