ZIP code 90403 has three public schools: Franklin Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary serve kindergarten through grade 5, while Lincoln Middle serves grades 6–8. In 2025–2026, all three were well above California’s proficiency rates in every reported subject. The clearest overall standout is Franklin, which led the area in ELA, math and science and outperformed Roosevelt in every reported elementary grade and subject.
