Open Quote Wherry Academy is a not accredited school. The tuition cost is between $300-$900 with a scholarship program. My daughter spent/wasted a year of classes and now that she moves to a public school, she is a grade behind. This school has a lot of personal issues with teachers, principal and students. I don't recommend it. I had my hopes in this school and I am very disappointed now :( Close Quote

Open Quote Wherry Academy has been serving kindergarten though twelfth grades since 1983. It has a wonderful history of providing students with the tools needed to continue on to the best colleges and universities. Each student is seen as an individual, with strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes. The entrance requirements for the University of California are used to set the standard for graduation from Wherry. Even the youngest students are given the college preparatory program. The school is fun and affordable as well as academic. Come join us! (650) 367-6791 Jan Close Quote

Open Quote I am a former student and would highly recommend Wherry Academy. The school provided me with an excellent and well-rounded education, which has not only been the foundation of my higher learning, but has also helped shape the person I have become. I was exposed to a broad selection of electives that were guided by my personal interests and strengths. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
