St Mary's School

I joined this school hoping to grow as an educator in a supportive, student-centered environment. Unfortunately, my experience was defined by a lack of leadership, accountability, and basic professional standards.

Decision-making was inconsistent and often driven by popularity or optics rather than competence or qualifications. Feedback was rarely based on real observation or evidence and often came in the form of vague, generic evaluations. Meetings were mislabeled as professional development, and inclusion was more performative than genuine.

Support for teachers was minimal, especially if you weren’t part of the inner circle. Despite delivering strong curriculum, building meaningful connections with students, and staying focused on my work, I often felt dismissed and unsupported by leadership.
