St Catherine Laboure School

This school is fantastic! The class sizes are small, the teachers and administrators are incredibly dedicated, caring educators. We came from public school and the difference is amazing. Their computer lab and education far exceed what we've ever seen. The kids all learn Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher etc. and turn in projects you would expect in college! We like that they offer so many extras- after school tutoring, Academic Decathlon, Yearbook, Student Government, Spelling Bee, Google Geography Bowl competition, Science Fair, Art, after-school music and dance amd sports teams (football, volleyball, basketball, softball) St. Catherine's has always had a reputation for strong academics, but they also put a lot of emphasis on service, and personal responsibility to each other and the community. These kids turn out to be really impressive people and I give credit to this school. Now we know why they won South Bay's best private school last year!
