My son just completed his freshman year. This is a wonderful College Prep School that also offers an amazing Arts Program. After a year, I am impressed with both the student body and faculty. The Core Program fosters a relationship between the student and their Core teacher - Core is a 20 minute class everyday and it offers a great deal of support to the student in the form of having a teacher that gets to know them academically as well as socially and emotionally. Core is like a little pod family at school. Classes are small (no more than 15 students) so your student will be well known by all his or her teachers. The kids aren't numbers or only known by their last names - the teachers know the kids and like them.

After my son shadowed, he told me to cancel his other shadow appointments because he wanted to go to Mid-Pen. While I was there waiting to pick him up that day, I talked to a number of students and I was impressed at how willing they were to talk to me about school & how much they liked school. I was impressed then and I am so happy with my choice for high school. Close Quote
